Xinghao
Xinghao has been involved with VEX Robotics since 2014. He is a graduate of the Robosavages, the former world champion robotics team at Gladstone Secondary, and was the VEX Robotics BC Provincial Champion in 2016 and 2017. He has qualified for the World Championship eight times, coached for more than seven years, and mentored 50+ students each year. Xinghao leads courses, student coordination, communications, and competitive team programming
Nevin
Nevin has been involved with VEX Robotics since 2011. A Robosavages graduate and BC Provincial Champion in 2014 and 2015, he earned 32 awards during his student competition career. He has served as an Event Partner for local championships for over a decade, sits on the Board of Directors of Pacific Youth Robotics Society, and leads competitive mentorship, tournaments, and accounting at WPRA
Winson
Winson has been involved with VEX Robotics since 2015 and was the VEX Robotics BC Provincial Champion in 2017. He has qualified for the World Championships seven times, coached for more than seven years, and mentored over 60 students each year. He leads WPRA programming and competitive courses
Charles
Charles brings deep experience from secondary school robotics competition and hands-on coaching, especially in VEX IQ. He has led teams to the Robotics World Championships, including a world finalist finish in 2023, and focuses on collaborative, student-centered development
Kenneth
Kenneth is a Robosavages graduate and BC Provincial Champion in 2018 and 2019. He frequently earned Excellence and Tournament Champion awards during his competitive career and is now studying Mechatronics Engineering at Simon Fraser University
Sammy
Sammy is another Robosavages graduate who became BC Provincial Champion in 2019 and 2020, frequently winning Excellence and Tournament Champion awards. He brings current engineering knowledge and student-focused instruction to WPRA’s intro pathway
Stanley
Stanley has more than four years of teaching experience across robotics, math, chess, and English. He is a graduate of the Robosavages program and supports younger learners with a calm, practical teaching style
Braden
A WPRA graduate and longtime competitor, Braden joined the coaching team in 2026 and now studies Engineering at UBC. Experienced as a builder, programmer, and team leader, he enjoys mentoring students in strategy, game awareness, and design
Ethan
A former WPRA competitor and frequent Tournament Champion, Ethan joined the coaching team in 2025 and now studies Physical Sciences at the University of Waterloo. With experience as a builder, programmer, and driver, he loves helping students build the confidence to compete
